What if I tell you every pain or negative tide can be turned to something great or a positive tide? Exciting right? Some call it the law of serendipity but victory at the end of every tide has always been God’s will for the saints as in Isaiah 61:3 “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.”
Saints need to understand how to enjoy the negative tide in the process of turning it into a positive tide because this is one of the things that makes life really meaningful, imagine playing a video game or your favorite game and you always win your opponent… it gets boring right? And that is because it is no longer a challenge to you defeating your opponent, same thing applied to life! Whenever we achieve something that really challenged us it comes with greater excitement!
Whatever the issue is that you currently experiencing it can be turned to something great! I don’t care to know how long it has been there, the Bible made us to understand that we were made in the likeness of God and this means the ability of turning a negative tide to a positive tide just like God, it is embedded in every one of us! Not just for a special group of persons.
Beauty can come forth from every pain, the negative tide represent seasons of pains that seems immanent as long as one is clothed in a mortal body, no one in a mortal body can escape this season but it can be turned to a positive tide!
Every man you see today experience this season, every single man! Not even the precious Lamb that was sent to save the world was exempted from this and that is why the scripture made us to understand that to everything there is a season (Ecclesiastes 3:1) and one needs wisdom that can only come from above to make every season beautiful! It was this same kind of wisdom Joseph implored (Genesis 41:46-57).
Such wisdom can’t be gotten from anywhere except from above, from the ever loving father Abba!
As stated in the scripture read aforetime this ability to turn negative tide to positive tide is given to those that are in Zion, not just anyone and this is a pre requisite for anyone who must receive this gift because it is for believers only! The good news is you don’t have to buy a ticket or go through the stress of getting yourself a visa to find yourself in Zion, you start living in Zion the moment you accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.
Every pain or excitement all comes from our emotions, too often the topic of being emotionally intelligent has been overlooked and this has resulted to most male thinking the best way to handle emotional crisis is by ignoring it like they were taught Man-Up while growing up, as we grow up we’ve discovered this phrase “Man-Up” has done more harm than good and if not attended to it will destroy the generations to come.
Don’t be ashamed of your tears…. Even Jesus wept (John 11:35). The fact that it is more common with male doesn’t mean that females are left out; it is a responsibility that everyone must assume consciously!
It’s important you are conscious of how you respond to situations and understand your emotions, many believe happiness comes with current circumstance or there must be a reason to be happy but it is not so, happiness is 90% state of our mind and barely 10% what is happening or any reason you can think of, so it all point back to we being able to manage our mind.
Frankly, the mind is powerful and no one can deny that but we should understand it is meant to be controlled by us and not the other way round, we learn everyday whether we are aware of it or not, but we can consciously pay attention to the things we learn and unlearn the things we know are harmful or unhealthy.
At this point, it is important we understand we were conceived in a negative environment just like King David noted in Psalm 51:5, our mind has gotten used to its environment hereby making it easy to learn negative things fast, to undo this there must be some intentional effort put in place and that demands some responsibility from you!
I once read a story of a wise man who is a cosmopolitan, he is a man that people run to for answers and solution to their problems, some run to him sincerely for help while some go to him to put an end to his reputation because his answers seems to be helpful all the time.
There was these three young men who have always sort for means to end his reign, they’ve tried several means but all to no avail so one day they came up with a brilliant idea to ruin his reputation, the idea is to catch a bird and take it to the wise man and ask him if the bird is alive or dead, if the wise man said it’s alive they will strangle the bird but if he says the bird is dead they wouldn’t, in bid to prove the wise man wrong.
It was a brilliant idea they all concluded, so they caught a bird and one of the three men whose name was Jothan held it by its neck while they visited the wise man, standing in front of the wise man, the three young men asked him with the level of intelligence he has displayed he should be able to tell if the bird was alive or dead, the wise man looked at them for some minutes and could tell they were unto mischief again so he responded; Jothan, the bird is in your hands!
Now, relate this story to the outcome of your life, you will realize it is in your power to create what you want in your mind and then manifest it!
Emotional intelligence plays most of the role in creating success and all this begins in the mind, but while we maximize this as saints we must walk in God’s purpose for our lives by casting down all imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
